Welcome to Little Gem Beach Cafe
Where fantastic food, a warm smile and the beauty of the sea come together in the heart of St Aubin’s. As a family run, independent cafe, we are proud of the space and atmosphere we have created. It is the perfect seaside spot to unwind.
Serving freshly brewed locally roasted coffee, hearty breakfast, mouthwatering brunch, healthy dishes and homemade cakes. We are all about simple, fresh and homemade goodness. Our menu has something for everyone.
Whether you're stopping off after a walk or cycle, catching up with friends, or spending time with family, you'll always find a warm welcome and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

About us
Long and short I always dreamed of opening my own cafe. One day our son Ed came home from his Saturday job at the cafe and said that the owners were selling. We immediately contacted them and then within a few months we were the new owners! So after 20 years working as a midwife at the hospital in a career I absolutely loved, I was now the proud owner of my very own beachside cafe and Little Gem Beach Cafe was born. With the support of my husband and our three children, in March 2023 Little Gem Beach Cafe opened its door & my lifelong dream became a reality. The name “Little GEM” comes from our three children: George, Ed & Mimi. The cafe is very much built on family. George, Ed and Mimi all work in the cafe.
At its heart, Little GEM is a place to gather. A warm, welcoming space to enjoy fresh, feel-good food, reconnect with family and friends, and soak up the simple joy of good company & good vibes.
It’s our happy place—and we hope it becomes yours too.
